- Has proved? Or has proven? Thanks
1. "Has proven" is the old traditional form of irregular verbing in the English language. Translates to Present Perfect tense.
2. However, "has proved" is now acceptable and frequently used today, a breakaway from tradition.
3. To prove, proven (p.participle) proved (past tense)
The choice is yours.

‘Proved’ is slightly more frequent in the COCA, with 28,341 records, against 21,519 for 'roven'. Still, I’d have thought there were contexts in which ‘proven’ was unlikely. ?‘You haven’t proven that’ sounds very formal for most situations.
